Cricket Coaching & Matches

Service users have been lucky enough to be provided cricket coaching at a number of venues including Pagham and Arundel Cricket clubs by local coach Ben Cook. The coaching sessions have helped improve their co-ordination, timing, accuracy and working as part of a team.

Furthermore, Apuldram have been playing against other Centres in a tournament at the home of Sussex cricket club. We have a very competitive bunch here at Apuldram, when we win everyone hears about it!

Football Activities

The Amex Brighton & Hove Albion Football Stadium

Brighton football club – Albion in the community have provided sessions here at Apuldram for our adults with learning disabilities. The Course includes leisure studies, health and safety, promotion of healthy exercise and of course football and an assortment of games. Read More »

Sensory Garden Project

Apuldram have recently finished building a wild life garden at the centre, for the clients and visitors to enjoy. We were awarded funding from the Harbour conservancy as part of its 100th project. An area of wasteland has been converted into a beautiful sensory garden, which includes a wildlife pond, a bog garden, wild flowers, an insect hotel, a living willow arch and an arbour. Read More »

This year’s Apuldram Winter Fair was on to a good thing with the weather; the sun shone; the staff, volunteers and service users turned up early and finished off the stalls ready for the crowds and at 10am the gates’ were opened.
