Friday 11th October was simply fantastic with two winning community nominations and £1,700 awarded to the charity. Supported Living Team Leader, Julie Sandalls was presented with an award in recognition of her outstanding community fundraising efforts. Julie attended a glitzy evening at the Hilton Hotel hosted by Spirit FM and was presented with a £200 cheque for the Apuldram Centre by Rachel Drury, Cineworld Chichester Manager who sponsored the Community Hero award. Just down the road at the Black Rabbit in Arundel, Lillian and Support Worker, Sue Applin accepted a £1,500 cheque after a successful nomination to local brewery, Hall and Woodhouse Community Chest.
