Out with the old and in with the new:

We are delighted to announce that we have commenced our next phase of redevelopment, building works will commence for 26 weeks in contract with Richard Jones Building Ltd in conjunction with The Seaman Partnership. During the works the café/shop and pole barn (to the rear of the café/shop) will be demolished and thereafter a new shop/café facility will be built along with a small sports hall, new toilet and changing facilities, a quiet room and external store to open summer 2020.

The cafe/shop are open as normal in a new temporary location

The building works are in excess of £500,000 and we are able to commence works now because of the generous donations we have received from a variety of  small and major donors including grants from the following; Sport England, Gosling Trust, The Gerald Micklem Trust, The Bassil Shippam & Alsford Trust, The F Glenister Woodger Trust, The Will Trust, The Laing Trust, The Bernard Sunley Charitable Foundation, The Sir Jules Thorn Charitable Trust, The Clothworkers Foundation, The Edward Gostling Foundation and The Peter Harrison Foundation, plus other individual, group and business donations along with our own fundraising efforts.

Once completed the new facilities will greatly enhance our existing support offer to local adults with learning disabilities and significantly improve our public café/shop. The sport/community hall will be available for hire by the local community for sports and recreational use.
