Community Gardening

During the grass growing season we can be seen out and about in our local community providing a gardening lawn mowing service.  We focus on maintaining lawns within our supported living community and for people who have disabilities.  In addition, we partake in community gardening projects.

We provide supervision to enable trainees taking part in this activity to mow lawns and undertake basic gardening tasks for the public in our local community, this is very much a team effort and opportunity to work off site from the Day Centre.

This service provides an essential opportunity for our trainees to gain confidence and vital work skills, which may help them to go onto gain future employment.
