We have a wide range of volunteering opportunities both at our dedicated Day Centre and in central Chichester at “Hub Club”.

Our volunteers are invaluable in enabling us to deliver an enhanced person centered service to the people who we support.  Volunteering opportunities are varied and flexible to meet mutual needs.

A large majority of our volunteers are local to the community of Chichester and surrounding suburbs and varying in age, life and work experiences, but all have a passion for making a difference and having fun.

No previous experience is required however we would like you to be; friendly, understanding, responsible, reliable and caring.

If you are interested in finding out more, or would like to offer your services, please give us a call on 01243 783370 for a chat or email

We have successfully purchased our new vehicle, designed the branding and been actively out and about in the community providing gardening services. Thus expanding our service to support up to 10 adults with learning disabilities gain work experience through delivery of daily gardening services.  We have taken on an additional 29 gardens visiting on a fortnightly basis. Feedback from our customers has been extremely positive. For more information click on the link to see the full impact report. Check out the photographs of the new van with it’s graphics and Apuldram logos.

Coffee, Cake & Celebrate.

Feeling inspired?  We are always on the look-out for amazing people to go the extra mile and organise a fundraiser themselves.  During our 30th anniversary year we want to reach out to our supporters and those we don’t yet know and ask them to host a “Coffee, Cake
& Celebrate
event in aid of the Apuldram Centre. It could be as simple as inviting a few friends round to your house for a cup of coffee, a piece of cake and a chat or something bigger!

The Apuldram Centre will provide two tray bakes to support the event, a choice of chocolate brownie, lemon drizzle or flap jack – one week’s notice required.  We will also provide a donation bucket and all we ask for in return is a minimum of £30 to be raised from the event.

To list your event please call into the office or email  A registration form will be sent to you, along with a pack. Should you require help, we may be able to offer support to publicise your event.

The Apuldram Centre is delighted to be participating again this year in the National Garden Scheme. Please see below for our open day dates. As usual our cafe will be open for light refreshments. We would love to see you here!

Work has now commenced on the first phase of our major redevelopment works, focussing on the existing Common Room. Specialist contractors have made significant progress in removing the barn’s asbestos panels, the first stage of the project’s 10 week works programme.
